Description
- Create a new Qt Quick Application project.
- In Projects view, right-click the project's qrc file and select "Open in Editor" from the context menu.
You'll see a graphical editor. - Select "Tools" -> "Code Pasting" -> "Paste Snippet..." from the menu.
The "Paste Snippet" dialog shows up. Its editor is empty or shows the contents of your machine's clipboard. - Close the qrc editor.
- In Projects view, right-click the project's qrc file and select "Open in Text Editor" from the context menu.
You'll see a text editor. - Select "Tools" -> "Code Pasting" -> "Paste Snippet..." from the menu.
The "Paste Snippet" dialog shows up with the qrc file's content.
The "Paste Snippet" dialog should be able to retrieve the contents of a file even when it is open in a graphical editor. This works for qml and ui files.
