Empty qmake Project wizard has no valid kits

Steps to reproduce:

• start QC, make sure you have some Qt versions and respective kits configured
• invoke 'File' -> 'New File or Project...' -> 'Other Project' -> 'Empty qmake Project'
• follow the wizard until the kit selection page

Current result:

• kit selection page is empty stating no valid kits can be found

Expected result:

• valid configured kits are listed
