When the Projects view in the left-hand column is selected, there are various text boxes that can be filled in. On OS X, the Command modifier key ignored and Command + <Whatever Key> is treated as though <Whatever Key> is pressed alone. This violates Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and results in unexpected problems for the user.

For example, typing Command + F when project view is selected results in a letter "f" being inserted into a text box that has focus. The correct behavior is to ignore the key combination if it is not applicable.

I have personally had problems several times where I accidentally pressed Command with some key, resulting in an extraneous character being inserted into a text field in the project configuration.
