when you make changes to the bar-descriptor.xml manually, for example i make changes to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH env tag cuz i need to add a path to my own libs, by every running of qmake or moving around different projects you'll be asked for if you want to update tags based on the current configuration. It's really annoying.
