The QtC Quick 2 Designer has some fixed zoom points: 25%, 50%, 100%, 200%.
When using them on big screens or very small screens those steps get either too big, or too small.
As the QtC Quick 2 Designer is OpenGL-based, i think continuous Zoom, or at least in factors of 10% is easily achievable and not resource demanding.
