1. Open the "New File or Project" dialog using "File" -> "New File or Project".
2. Switch to a different running application using Alt+Tab.
3. Switch back to Creator using Alt+Tab.
4. Press Esc.
   The dialog does not close. Creator's main window in the background might react by closing a view or switching to Edit mode.
5. Click into the dialog.
6. Press Esc.
   The dialog will close.

After Alt+Tab, the dialog should get focus, at least if it had focus before switching away.
