Qt Creator shows dialog to create bar descriptor multiple times

When adding a BlackBerry device 10 to a project then Qt Creator 3.4 asks the following: "you need to set up a bar descriptor file to enable packaging. do you want qt creator to generate it for your project?". No matter if the yes or no button or the checkbox is changed, the dialog will popup many (10++) times and each click on a project file opens the dialog again. At the same time no bar descriptor file is created.
The problem did not exist in previous versions of Qt Creator.
