I have C++ project with shared library added as second project. I noticed that if I select main project as starting project I can barely see difference that selected project is Active Project. I think it would be better to change font color to "Red" (I am running in Dark Mode) or better yer change color of project icon in three view so it is clearly visible. I can only see as number of sub bpoject grows this might be bigger problem. Back to my point Since I did seup dependency exe on shared lib, if I select shared lib I see clear, If I select executable I do not see clear all and Rebuild all. These steps should perform clean each project and rebuild with dependency.
