Win8 users experience Unresponsive behavior since 3.4

    Description

      Windows 8 users are complaining of QtCreator going unresponsive while the Qt app is being run. Windows will alpa the Creator window, label it as "Not Responding" and then recover.

      It happens very regularly and makes Qt virtually unusable while the app is running.
