Yosemite 10.10.2 Qt 5.5.0 Community Qt Creator 3.5.0 Xcode 6.3.2 IOS 8.3 Simulator Ipad Mini IOS 7.1
Description
After following QTBUG 47540 and thinking that it was fixed by putting QMAKE_INFO_PLIST entry into the PRO file and it solved the problem.
But I do not believe that is true.
But there is more problems here than earlier believed.
Screen shots for both IOS device and IOS simulator failure are attached.
Also a screen shot when Xcode attempts to run to IOS either to Simulator or IOS device it gives an error.
Running the project on OSX Desktop or Android v4.4.4 works fine.
The sample project in ZIP format is also included.
The build process also includes this message which may have some connection to the failure:
— xcodebuild: WARNING: The directory /macdev/qbld/ios/testgui3/Debug also contains the legacy project 'project.pbxproj' - ignoring it and using 'testgui3.xcodeproj'.
2015-08-20 16:13:36.220 xcodebuild[12322:124293] warning: The file reference for "/macdev/qdevtest/testgui3/qml.qrc" is a member of multiple groups ("Supporting Files" and "Resources"); this indicates a malformed project. Only the membership in one of the groups will be preserved (but membership in targets will be unaffected). If you want a reference to the same file in more than one group, please add another reference to the same path.
This is a showstopper for Qt 5.5.0.
