    Description

      I am working with a generic project (created using New File or Project -> Import Project -> Import Existing Project).

      Files with a .c extension are treated as C+. Things that are valid in C but invalid in C+ are flagged as errors and highlighted in red in these files. (Examples: assigning void * to non void pointer; variable named 'new', etc.)
