Cursor jumps away while typing

1. Open the attached file:

   import QtQuick 2.3
   
   Rectangle {
       Timer {
           onTriggered:
       }
   
       MouseArea {
       }
   }
   

2. Place the cursor behind "onTriggered:".
3. Type a "c".
   The cursor will jump to the beginning of the line.

The cursor should not jump to a different location while I'm typing. If you remove the MouseArea item, this does not happen anymore.
