Following the suggestion under QTCREATORBUG-7644, it would be very convenient to have a similar feature for the occurrences of the variable/function under the cursor. The occurrences are highlighted in the editor pane but it would be convenient to have the highlight also on the vertical scrollbar. I remember this feature from Netbeans and found it convenient. As an additional suggestion, the editor should scroll to the appropriate position when the user clicks on the highlight in the scrollbar.
