Cannot edit list of files in imported existing project

When I right-click on a project created via the "Import Existing Project" wizard, and select 'Edit Files', the dialog tells me it's not showing files outside of the base directory, but the abse directory listed in the tree view is the project.creator file.

This prevents me from updating my list of files.
