Edits to the .pro file are not detected, qmake is not called

    Description

      Despite editing the .pro file and saving the changes, Qt Creator still is not calling qmake, which results in building with the wrong configuration and the log shows this:

      14:41:29: Configuration unchanged, skipping qmake step.
