Indexer crashes when importing somewhat bigger projects

    Description

      When importing a medium sized Makefile project (about 1300 .cpp and 3500 .h files) Qt Creator allocates huge amounts of memory when indexing files (> 5GB) and then crashes.
      The crash seems to occur way before the system's virtual memory is exceeded.
