Poor scrolling performance

    Description

      I've never really noticed this before on Windows, but on Mac the scrolling performance is not very good. It's not bad but it is definitely noticeably worse than Chrome, VSCode, etc.

      Also while scrolling Qt Creator uses 100% CPU, which suggests to me that it is not very efficient.
