    Description

      • open qtcreator.pro in Qt Creator
      • select the root project node in the project tree
      • open the find panel (Ctrl+F / Cmd+F)
      • type qwert
      • Qt Creator is blocked for over a minute, while one core is at 100%

      Searching for qw takes roughly 10 seconds.

      Searching the same Qt Creator tree in Qt Creator 4.2 is "almost immediate".
