terminal 'output pane' alongside 'issues','search-results',...

(very low priority for me)  If there was a terminal window in this lower output pane (cmd-8 to activate?), you could leave qt-creator maximised and have less need to switch out of it.

it might have utility integrated with the IDE, because command output might be clickable to select locations in the code (custom searches, whatever).

No really very important, just might be nice in terms of symmetry and matching an emacs workflow with 'eshell' windows,
