Qt Creator 4.4.0-beta1

Ubuntu 16.04, Clang 4.0.1.
Description
I recompile daily QtCreator(branch: master) + LLVM/Clang(branch: google/stable).
On 16 May, the Clang backend started crashing continuously with this message:
Clang Code Model: Error: The clangbackend process has finished unexpectedly and was restarted.
I expected to be a regression in Clang or LLVM, so I initially rolled back the commits in Clang and LLVM but the crash was still happening.
In the end I identified that the regression appeared on 16 May, in QtCreator, in one of these commits: https://github.com/qtproject/qt-creator/compare/7bcf4831891536992607b5a7b43675590790ee59...70e6bb2827a7765deaf9f10c61817fb9af047d5a
My guess would be that it is Clang: Remove pointless code ( commit: d573aebf1248aafc13755c709c5307b9a357a560 ), but I am not sure about it.
I am at work and did not have much time to test this.
