    Description

It is wonderful Locator can be configured by user to find files in specific folders. So I added a directory with manuals and books, in chm, pdf and text formats about programming that I have accumulated for several years. It makes a fantastic work searching in those useful files, but when I press Enter for opening a pdf or chm file, Qt Creator opens them for hexadecimal editing.

I want to propose you to add a "Launch with default program" checkbox option in Filter Configuration dialog (Tools | Options | Locator | Add). When a result file is opened in Locator, Qt Creator launches the default associated program with that file type instead of opening it the internal editor.

It would better to be able check or uncheck that option for each file type one can add in the "File types" field of Filter Configuration dialog, but I know it is more difficult to implement. A global option for the filter is sufficient for most cases, I believe.

      Thanks so much
