[REG 4.4 -> 4.5] Trying to pause debugged application crashes it

1. Select "Debug" -> "Start Debugging" -> "Attach to Running Application..." from the menu.
2. Select a running application.
3. Click "Attach to Process".
4. Click the debugger's pause button.
   The debugged application will crash.

This should just pause execution of the application but not crash it. This works correctly in Creator 4.4.1.
