SFTP/QDB deploy to device is extremely slow

A full deploy of 200mb with largest debug library at approximately 146 mb. A full deploy can take close to 30 mins or more. On some cases even reported close to an hour. No problem with ADB and the problem has only showed up after Qt 5.9 and with the SFTP/QDB.

Remote device board is Variscite IMX.6 running on Yocto Krogoth with QT 5.9.2. Both host and remote device are connected to the same network switch via ethernet.
