QtCreator is querying the emulator in endless loop

When starting the QtCreator 4.5.0 with device creation 5.10.0 after a fresh install on a machine without previous QtCreator settings, QtCreator will query the emulator for the VM status in a loop. Reproducible on linux, windows7 and windows10.

QtCreator does receive the message ":shut down" which means no machine is running and current state is shut down. But afterwards it immediately tries to ask for the same status again and again.

The installation only has the 5.10.0 emulator installed, nothing else.

Only the boot2qt-qdb plugin is enabled.
