Description
There have been reports about Qt Creator constantly consuming a certain amount of CPU (~12%, ~30%, = one of 4 or 8 cores?) while the IDE is not doing anything.
The reports are mentioning Windows as OS and Qt Creator x86.
A comment in the Qt Creator 4.5.0 release post indicates:
Using process explorer, I can see that the start address of the offending thread is ig75icd64.dll!SetLayerPaletteEntries+0x950. So I guess the problem also depends on the Graphics driver of the machine.
