Please consider showing the typed password in the field rather than designating it as a "password" field while replacing the characters with plain star/ball symbols.
As I need to every time update the password when changing something in N900 counter part, it would be more error free if I could see the password I have typed in.
I don't think there is any need to hide this from the people who might be looking over my shoulder as that is the only protection such field provides.
For example keyboard strokes can be recorded if anyone want to catch my password.
