toolchain detection may freeze creator

      creator calls g++ during toolchain discovery. if that g++ happens to be icecc while no iceccd is running, it will get stuck. during startup, this completely freezes creator (though there appears to be a timeout), while during session switching creator freezes, but keeps repainting (and there is no timeout). killing the icecc processes restores normality in both cases.
