highlight occurrences of symbol for scripting languages / perl

    Description

      C++ editor has cool feature to highlight current symbol occurences (see screenshot), but that feature is not available for scripting editors, at least with perl.

      Please, add that very nice feature for perl editor, as it saves a lot of time on typing errors!

      See attached examples for clarification: the "stage" variable is highlighted for C++ when my cursor is in it, but the $self is not highlighted in perl
