Option to disable/configure folding highlight

When hovering a folding marker, there is a very noticeable highlight on everything else.

At least in dark theme the contrast between the areas is high and this feature typically results in large portions of my screen flashing every time I want to set a breakpoint.

I could not find a way to configure or disable it.
