Description
My main problem is that I frequently see unwanted tooltips everywhere and these can be quite big and 'flashy'.
For this reason, I turned off tooltips in the text editor, but I still get them in the UI. I would like to keep the tooltips, but maybe some of these suggestions would make them a more comfortable experience:
- add a bigger delay before showing a tooltip.
- optionally show tooltips in the UI only with Shift+hover, as in the text editor.
- make the tooltips more subdued, eg. without a white border in dark theme.
- remove unhelpful tooltips such as 'Breakpoint' when on top of a breakpoint. It's currently impossible to disable one without the tooltip flashing.
The tooltip with the filepath on the search results where it already shows the full filepath is also not useful. - start the tooltips for filepaths tend to be huge. They could start with "..." from the project root.
- add an option to entirely disable tooltips everywhere.
