Description
I'm just creating this because I noticed others mentioned Creator was slow to open, and I had the same issue on an older machine. I now have a newer Windows 10 machine and the total startup time is actually pretty good (6079ms after fresh install, 2271ms on successive runs), but I thought others could use this to post their results.
One thing that I notice even with the newer machine is that the window and its contents are visible within a few hundred milliseconds after opening, and the UI is "disabled" for the rest of those 2 seconds. I think that if it was possible to allow the user to navigate the menus and open a project (or at least request that it be opened; it could queue the request on top of the startup loading) during that time, it would give it a sense of being much faster.
