XML Parser fails with double dashes

QtCreator's XML parser/highlighter seems to be unable to handle comments when they contain double dashes ("--").

While typing the double dashes in the plain text editor, QtCreator will display red underlines (syntax error). After closing the file, it is unable to even display it again in the plain text editor and will mark the file as "contains changes" even though there are none.
