Filesystem view position not set on startup

When a previously used QtCreator session is opened, QtCreator opens the last open document in the editor. However, the filesystem view does not get positioned on the open file in the filesystem tree. Instead its position is the top of the filesystem tree. The "Synchronize with Editor" option is enabled and if I switch between open files the position gets updated as expected. It would be convenient if the filesystem view position was at the currently open file from the start (if "Synchronize with Editor" is enabled).
