    Description

      Status / Error Report:
      +
      Menu+: /Tools/Options/Devices
      +
Dialogue Box Heading+: Missing Android SDK packages.
Dialogue Contents: Android SDK installation is missing necessary packages.
Do you want to install the missing packages? -> Yes

      Details pane opened:
      "Android settings have errors."
      x Platform SDK installed
(Everything else has a green tick, but the option above.)

      Licence:
If one closes the Details Pane and presses Update Installed
the following dialogue box will be displayed:
      Header: Android SDK Licences
Contents: Please not that the installation and the use of the Android SDK packages may fail if the respective licences are not accepted.
Buttons: Yes / No (What does that mean? )

      Followed by the dialogue box:
      Header: Android SDK Changes
      Contents: Android operations finished.
      Button: OK

      SDK Manager pane reports:
      Checking pending licences ...
      Updating installed packages ...
Closing the options dialogue will cancel the running and scheduled SDK operations.
      Updating installed packages.
           ... 5 more
      Done.
      (I didn't close anything!)

      My comment:
      Everything is installed.
Android Studio runs lovely with the installation.
      Qt Creator points to this installation;
Android SDK location: set (holds a sub-directory platforms with installed apis 22, 25
      Android NDK location: set

Qt Creator harps on the message:
      x Platform SDK installed,
      meaning, obviously,
there is no platform SDK installed,
but it is, namely platform API 22, Lollipop,
that is the best choice according to
      https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_Creator_Android_Status
The link is by far not up to date.

So Qt 5.11.1, Qt Creator 4.7.0 renders useless for Android development.
