Git Branches is not refreshed after first commit in new repository

Steps to reproduce:

• open a project which is not under git version control
• create a new git repository (Tools > Git > Create Repository)
• Git Branches have an empty Local Branches field (Ok)
• do an initial commit, branch master starts to exist
• Git Branches still does not show master in Local Branches
• Press the refresh button in Git Branche, master appears

Expected:

• The branches panel should be refreshed automatically after the commit
