Description
Can not upgrade or install QtCreator 4.8.0.
Installation path selection: default, i.e. ~/Qt
Installation error message: Error during installation process (qt.tools.qtcreator): Fail to copy file "/usr/local/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/apps/QtProject-qtcreator.png": Cannot create /usr/local/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/apps/QtProject-qtcreator.png for output
After the error message: (Possible actions: Ignore, retry, cancel)
Action 1: select Ignore: install seems finished. But when executed, it shows the following error message and then exits:
(qtcreator:5465): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gnome-terminal.css:141:0: expected '}' after declarations
./qtcreator: relocation error: /home/robin/Qt/Tools/QtCreator/lib/Qt/plugins/platforms/../../lib/libQt5DBus.so.5: symbol dbus_message_get_allow_interactive_authorization, version LIBDBUS_1_3 not defined in file libdbus-1.so.3 with link time reference
Action 2: retry, will keep retrying, since the user has no permission to write /usr/local/share folder. The installer should not try to write some folder outside user's folder, since it is a user-only installation (installing to ~/Qt).
Action 3: cancel. Apparently Qt creator won't work.
This is a high risk since, when "upgrade" is used, the old Qt will be delete, GONE!
