"create suitable run configurations" keeps turning on after i turn it off

    Description

      may also affect windows, not tested. not sure what component.

      It seems that periodically* the preference "create suitable run configurations" is reset to its "on" state, see screen shot. This in turn will create a run configuration that i don't and will never want.

      * not sure what the trigger is, could be one of:

      • each time i run qmake
      • switching projects
      • closing / opening QtCreator?
