The latest 4.9.0 beta has some sort of keyword completion plugin, which is mostly harmless, but messes up typing "else" statements as show in the video. The problem is that even after manually typing out "else {" the completion popup does not go away and after pressing Enter inserts an additional brace. The problem does not exhibit for other keywords, because there are no more keywords which are prefixes for other keywords ("else if" in this case).
