Different syntax highlighting for "assert" calls

When adding a lot of assert() calls to your code, for all the good reasons you know, in the end they disturb a bit when you look at the code.
What about adding them as a dedicated element in the syntax highlighting? Something like a color lighter than the rest of the code, for example.
