I prefer to add some small changes to ui.qml using normal text editor. And it is also very annoying when you alttabing from one file to another and it opens for you desginer (cos it loads much longer, not always valid rendering).

My suggestion is to add option where I can choose preferred view for file or where I can disable Qml Designer at all.
