Entire UI flashing

    Description

      For some reason the entire UI randomly flashes a slightly lighter shade of grey every now and then since upgrading to the latest Qt Creator. I think this wasn't an issue in 4.8.0 but don't quote me on that.

      It looks like a mostly transparent white rectangle is overlaid over the entire window (except the title bar). It kind of feels like it has something to do with mouse movement, but on the other hand it has definitely flashed when I wasn't moving the mouse at all.

      I have no idea how to reproduce it, sorry, but I suspect it is something to do with the recent dark mode changes in OSX.
