Description
The Git Branches panel has a filter option, to include old branches (no activity for 90 days). This option is disabled by default.
This works quite well on projects with regular activity in the newest branches.
However, in projects with few activity, also newest branches might disappear. But when I disable the filter, I see all branches which is also not useful.
I therefore suggest the following change:
- When filtering is disabled, display all branches (as now)
- When filtering is enabled, show the newest 5 (or so) branches, regardsless how old they are
That way, with enabled filtering you always see the most relevant branches, even if there has been no work in the last half year.
What do you think?
