Cannot annotate a file in an older changeset with mercurial if it was moved

      Qt Creator does not take into account the old file location, thus hg annotate call fails with "no file in rev...".

      The simplest way to achieve this I found so far is to add -f flag to hg annotate. After this hg will append the original file name to each annotated line of the file.
