Indefinite loop on cyclic symbolic link

    Description

      My qt-creator consumes whole CPU power of single core after starting search something. It turned out one of my project directory is a symlink to its parent so there is a cycle in that hierarchy. Unfortunately qtcreator cannot handle it.

      Please take a look at the attached backtrace.
