Description
The first thing I deactivate on every system is the UpdateInfo plugin.
The problem with that is, that is creates an messagebox (without my demand) and therefore blocks my work until I confirmed or dismissed the dialog.
I think it would be much better(and user friendly) to place a notice on the welcome screen that new updates are available (and probably also, which update is available).
Any other non-blocking message might do too, but I think the welcome screen would be perfect for that information.
