[Reg 5.12.4->5.13.1] Crash on macOS when connecting or disconnecting dock

    Description

      Whenever I connect or disconnect my Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Dock via USB C to my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) QtCreator crashes. You can see the resulting crash log in the attachments.

      It seems like QtCreator has a problem when it detects changes in the connected displays. There is in fact a display connected to my dock. However I tried connecting and disconnecting the dock with the display unplugged as well which results in the same crash log.

      When I connect or disconnect only the display from the dock, QtCreator does not crash and all seems fine.

       

      This behavior was not present in QtCreator 4.9.x.
