    Description

      This is a suggestion for improving the quality of incoming bug reports.

      A recurring problem is bug reports that do not have sufficient information to allow us to reproduce the bug. For some bug reports this could be improved by having the standard About Qt dialog provide a direct link to the Qt Bug Tracker. The URL could be crafted in such a way as to pre-fill some fields of the bug report form with information that Qt already knows, e.g. platform and compiler details, configure options used to build Qt, etc.

      This feature could be implemented by adding a "Report a Bug" tab to the About Qt dialog.
