Qt Creator hangs for a long time while "Reading project"

    Description

      While working on relatively big projects be it opening, checking out different branches, the Qt Creator hangs (no input whatsoever). This happens when "reading project" along with "searching for examples".

      The issue intensifies even more at startup if many projects were open the session will be restored and the hanging period is even bigger.

      Some similar bugs have been reported for old versions, but not sure if they are indeed related (linked below).
