Feature request : Ctrl Click on symbol and open in new view

Currently, when you click on a symbol in the editor with Ctrl down, the content of that editor gets populated with the file where that symbol is defined.

I would be great if a feature can be added to that user can choose to open target source in another view e.g split the view horizontally. Like, if a user is just using it for a quick view of the symbol, it would be great to open this info in a new view rather than the current main view.
