Qt Creator causes massive CPU use from tccd system process on macOS

Launching Qt Creator itself and running a program built within Qt Creator causes the tccd system process to use up more and more CPU over time. On my machine this can reach up to 500% CPU over time, and it forces me to restart frequently. This system process reportedly takes care of managing permissions for access to contacts, photos, an other information.
